4th of July Headband and Bow Bracelet
Made a matching headband with korker bows along with a bow bracelet. I found a shortcut to making the korker bows. I used hairspray and a curling iron. Seemed to work!
4th of July Bandana Dress
Getting ready for the 4th of July so I had to make my 5 year old another bandana dress. This time it is a flag pattern. Same tutorial that I used for the zebra dress.
4th of July T-Shirt Refashion
So, I had to make myself something for the 4th. I got the idea from this blog (click here) but I added ribbon instead of cutting off the bottom to use the t-shirt as a tie. I also took in the shirt about 2 inches on the side but that is only because the shirt was way too big for me.

Flip Flop Re-do
I found these flip flops in the dollar section at Target. I wrapped butterfly ribbon around them and added a bow at the toe.

Zebra Necklace Set
OK, so I couldn't let my 5 year old have all of the fun... so I had to make myself something zebra. I made myself a necklace, bracelet and earrings.
I started with beads and pendant that I purchased from JoAnn's.
I strung them onto bead stringing wire and used a crimping bar or finding to secure the ends.
I added a ring to the end that will be used to tie the ribbon to.
I tied a ribbon to the end of the rings as well as bows where the ribbon and beads connected.
So, now the earrings... I added beads to a head pin and wrapped the ends around earring hooks.
For the bracelet, I strung the extra beads to the stretch magic cording and tied it off. I added a bow to where I tied off the cord and added a little super glue.. just to keep it from coming untied.
All done!
